Morristown Police Catch Up To Credit Union Bank Robbery Suspect
A lone bandit, who robbed a Morristown, Tennessee credit union early Tuesday morning is now in custody. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Field Office in Knoxville, Morristown, Tn, Police apprehended 35 year old Jason Lee Marshall. Marshall, is charged with handing tellers at the TVA Credit Union on Winners Circle Road a note demanding money. Marshall left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a blue Ford Escape. He was located at a local motel while staying with a female. Officers tried to negotiate with Marshall for several hours, before a Tactical team of officers forcefully made their way into his room where he was was taken into custody. Marshall is being held at the Hamblen County Tennessee Detention Center.
