Hawkins County Woman Killed In Hit And Run…Search Underway For Driver And Vehicle

A 21 year old Hawkins County woman is dead following a hit and run incident Thursday night. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 21 year old Jasmine Gilliam, was killed around eight o’clock Thursday evening when she was hit by a so far unidentified driver or description of a vehicle on Highway 66 at the intersection of Thorps Chapel Road. The THP is continuing to investigate the fatality and also charges are pending.
