Two Northeast Tennessee Cities Receive Significant Funding For Main Street Programs

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee says two Northeast Tennessee Main Street Communities are receiving significant funding to further support their Main Street Programs. The Cities of Elizabethton and Greeneville Tennessee will both use 150 thousand dollars from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development for improvements to building facades and other outdoor public spaces. Elizabethton and Greeneville were selected along with twelve other cities to participate in the nearly two million dollar Downtown Improvement Grants Project.
