Criminal Investigation Continues Into Bristol Virginia Landfill Break-In Called Meeting Tuesday
A criminal investigation continues after the discovery of a weekend break in at the already, controversial Bristol Virginia landfill. City council members are preparing for a called meeting Tuesday morning, to discuss strategies to assist residents impacted by the foul smell drifting from the landfill. The meeting comes from the council itself, following a citizens meeting detailing the adverse conditions some residents near the landfill are experiencing. City staff will also discuss any legal action the locality plans to take regarding the ill effects from the noxious odors. That meeting is scheduled for eleven A.M. Tuesday at the Ewell Easley City Hall Annex.
