Mount Rogers Health District now offering COVID-19 booster

The Mount Rogers Health District is now offering COVID-19 booster doses. Officials say that Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson booster vaccines are all available to qualifying individuals. The booster vaccine can be received by those eligible, at least six months after the date of their second Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or at least two months after the single-dose Johnson and Johnson. Eligibility requirements for these booster doses include individuals age 65 years or older, and those age 18 and up with underlying health conditions or who live or work in high-risk settings.
