Virginia Department of Social Services now accepting applications for home fuel assistance
The Virginia Department of Social Services is now accepting applications for home fuel assistance. Fuel assistance aims to offset the cost of heating expenses for eligible households, and can also be used for delivery and installation, or connection fees. To qualify for fuel assistance, Virginia households must meet the maximum gross monthly income of $1,610 for a one-person household, and $3,313 for a four-person household. Applications can be done online, by phone, and at all local departments of social services.
