Warriors Path State Park hosting “Fall Day of Caring”; volunteers to clean playground area

A Fall Day of Caring is happening on Saturday at the Warriors’ Path playground, where volunteers will clean and do various maintenance projects to the area. During this time, the playground will be closed to the public as volunteers work to improve the space. Volunteers from numerous organizations and businesses are partnering to restock sand and mulch, pressure wash the slides and equipment, and more clean-up jobs. Neighbors, churches, and community groups are invited to help with this effort on Saturday from 8 AM to 3. For more information on how to get involved, contact Warriors’ Path State Park.
