ETSU reports increase in new student enrollment for Fall 2021 semester
Officials at East Tennessee State University say the institution reported an increase in new student enrollment for the Fall 2021 semester. ETSU says while overall enrollment was down approximately 3 percent due to the pandemic, the number of new students choosing to attend ETSU increased by 13 percent.
Additionally, ETSU officials say that even with the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 virus, they saw the highest six-year graduation rate in the institution’s history. ETSU’s President, Dr. Brian Noland, says, “Our efforts to make tuition more affordable for students in neighboring states have paid off.”
