Elizabethton Man Pleads To Possession And Distribution Of Child Pornography

An Elizabethton man is headed to federal prison after pleading guilty to his transgressions for distribution of child pornography. According to records, 48 year old James Ellison Catoe is sentenced to just under two years in prison after pleading guilty to downloading more than 11 thousand child pornography images and videos on his computer and phone. Catoe, admitted to possessing child pornography as well as distributing the images to hundreds of individuals over a period of time. Catoe, will be on lifetime supervised release, will be required to register as a sex offender and comply with special sex offender conditions as part of his sentencing.
