Johnson City Man Arrested On Aggravated Assault, Faces Previous Domestic Assault Charge

A Johnson City man is free on bond Monday after being arrested on numerous charges including Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment with a deadly weapon and False Imprisonment all, while facing similar charges from a previous incident. Logan R. McDavid witnesses was seen chasing another driver in the Boones Creek Road area when he nearly caused several collisions from his reckless driving. At one point, McDavid attempted to block all traffic by pulling in front of the victim’s vehicle, who was later identified as his girlfriend, and then parking sideways in the middle of the road. McDavid is set for arraignment on Monday, and according to court records McDavid was charged in a 2020 incident for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the head.
