Smyth And Bland Counties To Collaborate On Pathway Park Economic Development Project

The Smyth County Virginia Economic Development Authority along with neighboring Bland County will use a 600 thousand dollar Growth and Opportunity grant to advance a business ready development site at Pathway Park. Some of the funds out of a total of more than three and a half million dollars will be used to install two thousand feet of water line and another 16 hundred feet of sewer installation to the 70 acre site in Smyth County. The two counties will also collaborate to market the site for manufacturers and distribution centers.
