Bristol, Tennessee City Council Set To Hear 2021 Financial Report

City Council members in Bristol, Tennessee meet Tuesday to approve several consent agenda items, but will also be focused on a comprehensive annual financial report. James Bence, Mauldin and Jenkins Partner are scheduled on the agenda to present the Independent Auditor’s report on the city’s finances for 2021. Council is also expected to approve a resolution that will retain legal services and advice from Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders at a cost of 140 thousand dollars should any legal issues arise as a result of the current operation of the Bristol, Virginia Landfill.
