Grass Roots Group To Watch Tennessee Legislature Return To Work

Lawmakers in Tennessee return to Nashville on Tuesday. And as they do, a broad based grass roots watchdog group will be focused on advancing policies the group believes will help Tennesseans the most. Americans For Prosperity works to unlock economic freedom, expand educational opportunities and enact criminal justice reforms. The group is advocating the repeal of the Professional Privilege Tax, reforming the school funding formula and expanding open enrollment across the Volunteer State. The legislature is expected to also tackle redistricting and local infrastructure projects and funding as well.
