County Commissioners To Decide On Rezoning Request For Meat Packing Facility

Washington County Tennessee Commissioners will vote on a resolution tonight that could establish the areas first meat packing facility. Commissioners will decide whether to approve a rezoning request on Blalock Road in Teleford from a general agricultural district to a high impact use district. With approval the land owned by John Abe and Vickie B. Teague would be zoned for potential use as a six million dollar location for the areas first meat packing facility.
