Washington County, Tennessee Government phone lines temporarily down on Tuesday, Jan. 25
Officials in Washington County, Tennessee say phone lines for many government offices will temporarily be down on Tuesday. Mayor Joe Grandy says Washington County, Tennessee office phones will be down from 3 PM to approximately 5 PM Tuesday to more efficiently move around 500 phone numbers.
Mayor Grandy goes on to say this movement of numbers will help consolidate services and save taxpayer dollars. This temporary outage on Tuesday will affect offices such as the historic courthouse offices, the Sheriff’s Office, libraries in the county, and the county clerk offices. Officials say these offices can still be reached via email during this time. Office email addresses and updates can be found at WashingtonCountyTN.org.
