Authorities Searching For Carter County Shooting Suspect, Armed And Dangerous

Carter County law enforcement are searching for a white male suspect, wanted in connection to a shooting incident late Wednesday or early Thursday morning on VIP Road. Carter County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an area near Toll Branch Road, where they began the search for the suspect described as a white male, believed to be armed with a handgun, five feet eight inches tall, slender build, with blue eyes and was wearing a camo face mask. Authorities are telling residents to lock their doors and stay inside as they continue the search for the suspect. If you see the suspect, do not approach but call 911.
