Elizabethton Man In Critical Condition After Wednesday Night Shooting, Lone Gunman Remains On Loose
A Elizabethton man remains in critical condition after he was shot multiple times by a lone gunman, who remains on the loose. A press release from Police Chief Jason Shaw says 30 year old Kyle Thompson was found at a residence on 106 VIP Road by police just after nine pm Wednesday, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Thompson was transported to a local hospital for treatment and remains in critical condition. Residents in the area were told to shelter in their homes earlier Thursday while investigators searched for the white male described as armed and dangerous, five feet eight inches tall, slender build with blue eyes and wearing a camo mask.
