Atlanta-to-Southwest Virginia drug cartel member sent to prison for 40 years
Another Georgia-to-Southwest Virginia drug connection has been busted with a ring member being sent to prison for 40 years by a federal judge in Abingdon.
Prosecutors said Joshua Joseph Desorcy, 37, of Greeneville, South Carolina, pushed meth with other members and wired thousands in drug receipts to individuals in Mexico.
Evidence produced by the DEA and ATF helped put Desourcy away on charges of drug trafficking and money laundering.
