Local man honored by Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office for locating missing elderly couple

A local man is being honored by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office for locating a missing elderly couple. The Kingsport couple was reported missing on January 26th, and on the morning of January 27th, Brandon Keller noticed a disabled car and woman lying on the ground on Highway 36.

He stopped to help, and found the missing man in his vehicle and cold. He then let the couple sit in the warmth of his car until police arrived and confirmed it was the missing couple out of Kingsport. Sullivan County Sheriff Cassidy presented Brandon Keller with the Citizen Service Medal for his help in locating the pair.
