Rogersville native Sarah Campbell confirmed to Tennessee Supreme Court
Rogersville, Tennessee native and Cherokee High School graduate Sarah Keeton Campbell has been confirmed by the General Assembly as the newest member of the state Supreme Court.
Campbell was selected by Gov. Bill Lee from a pool of 11 candidates in January. She will fill the seat on the council left vacant by the death of Justice Cornelia Clark in September.
Campbell spent the previous six years in Attorney General Herb Slatery’s office as Associate Solicitor General.
An important day for TN as we welcome Justice Sarah Campbell to the TN Supreme Court & Judge John Campbell, Sr. to the TN Court of Criminal Appeals. I'm grateful for their commitment to Tennesseans & service to @TNCourts. pic.twitter.com/IFc4rgV9DT
