Bill, Asks Voters Three Questions On Pot For November Ballot
Are Tennessee Lawmakers looking to follow the Commonwealth of Virginia’s recent legalization of marijuana? It’s very early in the legislative session in Nashville, but already there are several bills moving around the State Capitol. And now, one of those, House Bill 1634, if approved, would ask Tennessee voters three questions regarding legalization of the weed in the November 2022 ballot. The questions would be non binding and answers from voters would be compiled by the secretary of state then shared with the General Assembly. House Bill 1634 is scheduled for a subcommittee hearing next week.
