Wildfire triggers evacuations in Rogersville
Evacuations were made Friday afternoon after following the start of a wildfire in the 200 block of Henard Road in Rogersville.
Residents in portions of Austin Mill, Tuggle Hill, Big Spring, and Guntown Road were asked to leave their property due to the fire that is not contained.
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for middle and east Tennessee until 10 pm tonight. A Red Flag Warning means warm temperatures, very low humidities, and stronger winds are expected to combine to produce an increased risk of fire danger.https://t.co/HDfIE8vRqj pic.twitter.com/wlyfrjE5iB

That is coupled with information issued by the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture which posted a Red Flag Warning until 10 p.m. tonight for East Tennessee. This means critical fire conditions exist due to warm weather and dry conditions along with gusty winds.
