Johnson City Animal Shelter received 73 animals in one week; reminds public to spay/neuter pets
Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment. That’s what the Johnson City Animal Shelter had to say when releasing statistics on intake and animal control calls so far this year. The shelter says from January 1st to February 28th, a total of 316 animals entered the shelter, and animal control responded to 836 calls.
Shelter staff reminds the public that pets are a lifetime commitment, and that having your pets spayed and neutered will greatly reduce animals living in a shelter and being euthanized.
