Griffith, ARC announce $1 million grant for new vet education center in Lee County

Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine campus in Lee County, Virginia is set for a $1 million expansion.

U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith announced the grant award from the Appalachian Regional Commission to LMU to help construct a new education and technology center at their current location in Ewing.

ARC says an estimated 500 students will receive instruction and clinical training as part of LMU’s four-year vet program.
