Two Tennesseans win big in lottery drawings

Two people in Tennessee won big in lottery drawings this week, one in Jonesborough. The player in Jonesborough won more than $20,000 from the Tennessee Cash drawing; and according to lottery officials, they purchased the ticket at Tri-City Wholesale Tobacco on East Jackson Blvd.

In Murfreesboro, a player won $100,000 from the Powerball on Monday, when they matched four out of five numbers plus the red Powerball on a Power Play ticket, which doubled winnings. The current Powerball jackpot sits at $454 million. Read more here.
