State attorney: Suspect in Norton domestic attack heading back to Virginia
A man charged in a domestic attack in Norton, Virginia last month has waived his extradition during a court hearing in Kentucky on Tuesday.
Sean Daniel Roberts, 40, was apprehended on unrelated charges after police said he fled the city and Wise County. He is accused of assaulting an adult and child and investigators noted that one of the victims had died.
Wise County Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Ken Lammers told us Roberts should be brought back to the locality within a week’s time and he will likely face additional charges in connection to the April incident.
The office had considered pursuing a Governor’s warrant to effort Roberts’ return to the county last week after the suspect initially refused to waive extradition in his first court appearance.
