Supervisor in Buchanan County indicted on 82 felonies by grand jury
A Buchanan County, Virginia lawmaker is facing serious criminal charges following a special session of a grand jury.
Knox District Supervisor Trey Adkins of Grundy is accused of 82 felonies including 34 counts of false statements related to election fraud, 11 counts of absentee voting violations, and eight counts of embezzlement.
Special Prosecutor Zach Stoots of Russell County said the charges are the result of a two-year investigation by the State Police following approval by the Virginia Attorney General’s office.
