Kingsport’s Brickyard Park/Cement Hill Project Wins Prestigious Award

Kingsport’s Brickyard Park/ Cement Hill Project in Downtown Kingsport has received the Donald E.Hunter Economic Development Award. The city received the prestigious honor from the American Planning Association. The award honors a project or program that demonstrates vision, leadership, innovation and commitment to the field of economic development. The Brickyard/ Cement Hill project includes a four field baseball complex, a Miracle League Field and all inclusive playground and the new Scott Adams Memorial Skatepark and a bicycle pump track to be built in the fall.
