Phillips Named New, Private Sector Economic Development CEO

Teamwork and a common economic development goal are the objectives for a former Kingsport Mayor, chosen as CEO to launch Northeast Tennessee’s privately funded, economic development organization known as NETNHub. Former Kingsport Mayor Dennis Phillips says his job is to bring everyone together throughout the eight county region with one voice when it comes to economic development of Northeast Tennessee. Phillips says he thinks the project will succeed with the group being made up of stakeholders from the region.
