Man Jailed After Assaulting Police Responding To Domestic Assault Call

A Washington County Tennessee man is arraigned Monday after assaulting a law enforcement officer responding to a domestic call. 24 year old Troy Ellison was arrested after fleeing police twice when police they responded to a Domestic Assault complaint, but not before Ellison, assaulted one of the WCTS officers during a struggle. Ellison was eventually apprehended a few hours later in close proximity to the 1445 Hairetown Road residence where the incident took place. Ellison is charged with Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault on an Officer, two counts of resisting arrest and vandalism.
