Tennessee announces 2023 opener in Nashville

The University of Tennessee has announced an adjustment to its 2023 schedule by opening its campaign with Virginia instead of BYU.

According to media reports, the game will also be played at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium as revenues from the contest will be split amongst the schools.

This marks the third time in Volunteer football history that the team will play in the Music City for their season opener.
