Carter County Authorities Make Arrest In Thursday Morning Shooting

Carter County authorities have arrested a suspect on attempted murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and other charges in connection to a shooting on Blue Springs Road Thursday morning that left one person with multiple gunshot wounds. 39 year old Jonathan Derek Harding is jailed after investigators found Harding in a residence on Blue Springs Road near Elizabethton Thursday morning. Harding is being held on a 200 thousand dollars bond in the Carter County Detention Center.
