Chilhowie Scholle IPN plant to expand and add 75 new jobs
Smyth County, Virginia flexible packaging producer Scholle IPN has committed $31 million to expand their Chilhowie production facility and add 75 new jobs.
Governor Youngkin was on hand for the announcement that detailed a 73,000 square foot addition for new manufacturing lines and add over 800 feet in new rail track to support the influx of materials needed to produce their products.

Scholle was acquired by Swiss packing company SIG in February in a $1 billion deal that is scheduled to close in the third quarter of this year.
