Governor Lee reappoints David Rausch as Director of Tennessee Bureau of Investigation

Tennessee Governor Lee said on Thursday he plans to reappoint David Rausch for a second term as the Director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Rausch has served as the TBI’s director since 2018, and is a U.S. Army veteran with more than three decades of law enforcement experience.

Governor Lee says Rausch has worked tirelessly to keep Tennessee communities safe, and he is confident that Rausch will continue to serve and protect with integrity. Director Rausch’s second term expires in June of 2028.
