Divers Recover Body From Waters Of 421 Boat Ramp

We are awaiting word from Sullivan County authorities on the identification of an individual recovered from the waters near the 421 boat ramp in Bristol, Tennessee on Sunday. Sheriff’s officials from Sullivan County responded to the scene around 650 Sunday morning. Witnesses told them they heard someone yelling for help. The witnesses lead responders to the area near the boat ramp, where the Sheriff Department’s Dive Team recovered the body of the individual, who has not yet been identified pending notification of next of kin. Foul play is not suspected and the case remains under investigation by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department.
