Johnson City man sentenced to three years prison for 2020 meth arrest
A Johnson City man pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Tuesday to meth and firearm charges, stemming from his arrest in 2020. According to a press release, Arthur Eugene Sanders, 44, must serve three years in prison, and six years probation after release.
The sentencing comes from Sanders’ arrest in 2020, where officers observed him sitting in his running car at 3 AM in a car wash bay for an extended amount of time. Upon search, deputies found him in possession of 27 grams of meth and a handgun. Sanders will serve three years for the firearm charge and six years probation for the meth charge.
