Driver dead from injuries in single-vehicle crash on Intestate 26 in Gray

A Washington County, Tennessee man died from his injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 26 in the Exit 13 area.

A preliminary review by Johnson City police said a car driven by Gary E. Franklin of Fall Branch went off of the highway into a ditch line flipping several times and ejecting Franklin from the vehicle.

Franklin was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
