Kingsport: 18th Annual Homegrown Tomato Fest happening August 6

This weekend is the 18th Annual Homegrown Tomato Fest at the Kingsport Farmers Market. This event celebrates tomatoes, which are a local favorite no matter how you slice it. The public is invited to enjoy free tastings, refreshments, cooking demonstrations, and tomato growing tips.

The community is encouraged to bring their finest garden tomatoes to enter in a variety of contests for free. The Homegrown Tomato Fest happens at the Kingsport Farmers Market this Saturday from 9 to 11 AM. More information on the official event page.
