UPDATE: Saltville woman convicted of 2020 homicide

A Saltville, Virginia woman was found guilty of murdering a Glade Spring woman in January 2020.

Police said Karen Lou Holmes shot and killed Alberta Susan Warren whose body was found inside her car in a parking lot near the Smyth County border.

Sheriff Blake Andis said the two women were involved in a drug dealing operation. Holmes will be sentenced in November.
