Johnson City Police take part in “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” on Labor Day weekend
The Johnson City Police Department is ramping up traffic enforcement this Labor Day weekend to help deter drunk driving. The department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Patrol again in the nationwide campaign “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”.
This initiative increases enforcement and patrols across Johnson City for the entire weekend, which is much-needed, as officials say in a release statistics show Labor Day is the second deadliest weekend in the United States for traffic-related incidents. Read more on Johnson City’s website.
