Northeast Tennessee High Schools Set To Receive One Million Dollars In CTE Funding
Northeast Tennessee high schools are poised to receive one million dollars for new Career and Technical Education programs. The Legislature passed a billion dollar K-12 educational funding plan this year. One million dollars is designated to go to each Tennessee high school to be used to establish new CTE programs, beef up existing classes and needed technology to change the way high schools look in the Volunteer state according to Governor Bill Lee. The goal is to have students participating in CTE programs and receive industrial credentials by high school graduation.
