Limestone, Tennessee Woman Charged With Felony Child Abuse And Neglect

A Washington County, Tennessee woman will be in court September 26, after being arrested for allegedly leaving the one year old child she was babysitting alone in her home in a car seat. 37 year old Sarah L. Smith of Limestone was arrested after the father of the child discovered the infant strapped to a car seat, alone in the home. According to the father, Smith left the child because she said the child was sleeping and she would be gone for only a few minutes. Smith was jailed in Washington County, Tennessee, but has since been released on bond.
