Poll: 40 percent of Virginians think abortion should be available without restrictions
Recent polls from Roanoke College touched on several hot topics in Virginia and across the nation including the decision by the US Supreme Court to overturn Roe V Wade.
The number of respondents who agreed abortion should be available under any circumstance increased to 40 percent, jumping 5 percentage points from the last poll in May. Just 10 percent of those surveyed endorse a total abortion ban.
The poll also says 72 percent of Virginians think the nation is headed in the wrong direction while former President Trump has a 37 percent approval rating.
