Tractor-trailer involved crash leaves one dead in Giles County

Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles that happened early Wednesday, 10/5, morning. According to a report, the crash happened around 2 AM on North Main Street in Pearisburg.

A tractor-trailer reportedly collided with a pickup truck, then came to a rest in the median. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. This crash remains under investigation, no identities have yet been released, and updates will be provided as they become available.
