Kingsport State of the City report touts strong growth

Kingsport leaders held the 9th Annual State of the City report on Thursday morning. This report is given by the mayor and city manager, and serves to provide updates on Kingsport’s overall well-being. Topics include economics, recent projects, and resident demographics.

Officials say the Model City saw revenues grow by nearly $7.25 million. Kingsport completed several projects this year, including a new fire training facility, athletic courts, and and improvements at Allandale Mansion.
