Boswell Gets New Court Appointed Attorney
Megan Boswell, accused of murdering her 15 month old daughter, Evelyn has a new court appointed attorney following a hearing Friday morning. Gene Scott will take over the case from Brad Sproles. Sproles, was Boswell’s court appointed attorney, but filed a motion this week seeking to be removed from the case. Friday morning, a judge granted that request. Boswell, is accused of of more than a dozen charges, including felony murder. Authorities found the body of Evelyn on family property. A medical examiner says Evelyn died from asphyxiation. Boswell’s murder trial scheduled for February is likely to be delayed again.
