Jury convicts Lebanon man in connection to apartment complex shooting in November

A jury in Russell County, Virginia has convicted a Lebanon man that police said wounded a resident at a housing complex in November.

Josiah Tyree Hilser, 23, was found guilty following a two-day trial in Circuit Court on one count of aggravated malicious wounding.

Prosecutors said Hilser shot the unarmed victim outside Lebanon Square Apartments when he fired several rounds. Hilser is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 10.
