Virginia Governor Calling For Partnerships For Achieving Economic Development Opportunities

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is calling for partnerships to help southwest Virginia take advantage of opportunities for economic development. Youngkin told a gathering of regional political, business and educational leaders in Bristol Wednesday, it will take collaboration to achieve the goal. Youngkin also addressed the need to improve workforce development and says the Commonwealth needs to ensure that every student that graduates from a Virginia high school should have credentials that will allow them to go to work after graduation or go on to college.
