Jonesborough lifts boil water notice for certain parts of county

The boil water notice in Washington County, TN has been lifted for certain communities. An update late Friday night says the Embreeville, Bumpus Cove and Highway 107 areas no longer have to boil water for consumption.

Town leaders say samples taken after the system restart indicate no restrictions on drinking water supplied by the Town of Jonesborough Utility System. Updates on more boil notice lifts and restoration efforts will be provided as they become available.
