No Pot Sales In Virginia Next Year
Virginian’s who want to purchase pot through retail sales will not be able to do so in 2024 after the last remaining bill to set up the market failed in the General Assembly. A Republican controlled House of Delegates voted five to three to kill the legislation that would have allowed for recreational sales of marijuana to begin next year. Currently, Virginian’s over the age of 21 are allowed to have up to an ounce of the weed on them or grow up to four plants in their homes.
